Nominating Committee

Mission Summary

The Nominating Committee is responsible to annually solicit, interview, vet, and nominate a  slate of candidates to the LSRPA Board of Trustees. 

The guidelines, will be reviewed annually by the Nominating Committee and the immediate past President of the LSRPA.

2025 Call for Nominations for the LSRPA Board of Trustees (BOT)

The LSRPA is requesting applications for nominations from LSRPA general members in good standing for the seven (7) positions on the Board of Trustees (BOT) when the current terms expire in December 2025. BOT members are voted in at the Associations Annual Meeting for a two-year term.

The LSRPA Nominating Committee is responsible for receiving, evaluating and recommending a properly selected slate of candidates to be placed in nomination before the membership for election. This year’s Nominating Committee members are Cathy Bryant (Chair), Michael Morris (Vice Chair), Kathleen Whooley, Dudley Warner, David Morris and Mark Pietrucha.

The seven (7) BOT positions that expire this term are currently held by John Scagnelli, Rakesh Ganta, Candace Baker, Kassidy Klink, Patrick Mottola, Mike Poland, and Anita Locke. Feel free to reach out to the Nominating Committee Chair or Vice-Chair to discuss any questions you may have.

The committee has formalized a set of the nomination metrics that will be used in the selection process. The basic requirements are as follows:

  1. Nominees must be an active member of LSRPA in good standing; self-nominations from LSRPA members who are in good standing are permitted.
  2. Sitting Board Members must renominate and submit a complete application.
  3. Nominations must be received by 5:00 pm on July 1, 2025.
  4. All nominees are subject to conflict-of-interest verification.

After reviewing the above information, one or more members of the Nominating Committee will further vet potential nominees via e-mail and /or telephone to complete the selection process.
