LSRPA Member Series:  Winning Strategies for Growing your Business

As environmental practitioners, a majority of our time is focused on "site remediation activities."  Our everyday tasks include conducting site assessments, identifying regulatory and technical requirements, scheduling and overseeing field work, report writing, project planning and subcontractor scheduling, agency reporting, and responding to RFPs and client scope changes and quotes. Many of us also have client and business development responsibilities. But do we have a process or plan to meet these responsibilities? Are we spending adequate time developing and maintaining our business relationships? Have we defined our target clients and do we have a strategy to engage those potential clients? Is it time to jumpstart or tune-up our business development skills?

The LSPRA is hosting a series of virtual short presentations to help hone your business development and networking skills. The purpose of these sessions is to provide environmental professionals with the tools and resources to meet our business development responsibilities and inspire for long-term success. The 90 minute presentations will focus on defining business growth strategies, resources to build your business network, developing and implementing a marketing plan, identifying target clients, and much more. These are intended to be peer to peer learning sessions with purposeful discussion.

Our first session is scheduled for June 14, 2024 from 8:30am-10:00am.
