Description:

This Regulatory Roundtable will dive into horizontal remediation technology. The discussion will focus on different applications of horizontal wells for vapor intrusion sites. Particular attention will be given to challenging or complex sites. The instructors will educate environmental practitioners on:

• Less common remediation techniques;
• Identifying specific site conditions which lend themselves to horizontal remediation approaches;
• Real-world examples of different types of horizontal vapor intrusion designs; and
• The efficacy of how different design choices affect a consultant’s ability to meet regulatory requirements for remediation performance.

The presentation will be followed by a moderated interactive open forum roundtable discussion. Please come prepared to discuss critical issues or concerns you feel directly impact your work.
