Soil and Fill Recycling - The “Dirty Dirt” Amendment to A-901Date: July 26, 2022
Course Description: In response to the inappropriate use of not-very-clean soil and recycled material as fill, the New Jersey legislature passed the “Dirty Dirt” law, amending the existing A-901 statute to regulate “soil and fill recyclable material.” The existing A-901 rules require registration by business concerns engaged in the solid waste industry. The “Dirty Dirt” amendment now requires registration by business concerns engaged in soil and fill recycling and broadens the definition of a “broker.” How does this impact LSRPs and other practitioners?
Immediately following the presentation and Q&A session, there will be an open forum roundtable discussion identifying critical issues or problems LSRP’s feel directly impacts their work.
