Call for Posters and Instructions for Submittal

The New Jersey Site Remediation Conference (NJSRC) is the only conference dedicated specifically to the needs of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) and professionals conducting site remediation under the LSRP program. It promotes the core principals of the LSRPA Association (LSRPA) and provides LSRPs and other environmental professionals with the opportunity to enhance their professional practice and show-case their technical, regulatory, and consulting expertise.

We welcome abstracts for poster presentations for topics related to the LSRP practice and the remediation of contaminated sites, with emphasis on the following themes:

  • Innovative approaches to investigation and remediation;
  • Remediation in Fractured Rock and Complex Geology;
  • Forensics and Advanced Diagnostic Tools;
  • High Resolution Site Characterization;
  • Green and Sustainable Remediation in the LSRP Program;
  • Analytical Chemistry;
  • Academic Research Projects, including Emerging Contaminants, Novel Remediation Technologies, Biogeochemistry, Geoinfomatics; and
  • NJ Geology.

Instructions to Authors

  • Submit your Poster Proposal via email with the subject line “NJSRC 2021 Poster Submission – last name” to [email protected]. Please submit as a .doc file. The abstract title is limited to 200 characters and the abstract text is limited to 2,000 characters.
  • Authors must be available to answer questions from 9am to 11am and from 2pm to 4pm on February 10, 2021.
  • Remediation projects are often confidential. The presenter is responsible for obtaining any and all required releases and permissions, prior to submitting abstract.
  • All presenters must pay the registration fee to present at and attend the 2021 NJSRC.
  • All sessions will be virtual at our on-line conference.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to accept or reject submissions at its sole discretion.
  • Placement of presentations in the schedule will be at the sole discretion of the organizing committee.
  • Posters will consist of a single slide suitable for on-line display.
  • Posters must be submitted in a PDF format.
  • Slide must be formatted “wide screen” (16:9).
  • It will be the authors’ responsibility to ensure that graphics and fonts are of such resolution and size that can be viewed clearly using typical desktop or laptop computer screen settings.

Important Dates

  • Deadline for submission: Monday, November 2, 2020, at noon
  • Notification of acceptance: Monday, November 23, 2020, at 20:00 H
  • Deadline for withdraw an accepted abstract: Monday, November 30, 2020, at 08:00 H
