In an effort to direct you to the proper person and assist you in finding the answer you need, we are providing the answers to several frequently asked questions.

Continuing Education Credit Certificates

When you take a course offered by the LSRPA, you will receive a Continuing Education Credit (CEC) Certificate if you attended the entire course (and for Alternative Verifiable Learning Format, answered the poll questions asked throughout the course). CEC Certificates are generated within several days following a course (unless the LSRPA is waiting to receive approval for CECs). The CEC Certificates are then sent out to all eligible attendees via email. Within the email, you will find a link to a document that includes all the CEC Certificates generated for the particular course. You should search for your name and print your certificate right away as the link will expire on a date that is outlined in the transmission email. If you do not download your Certificate or you have lost your Certificate, you will need to make a request for a duplicate. That can be done at the following link: https://www.lsrpa.org/duplicate-certificate-request. Please note that a separate request must be made for each certificate that needs to be replaced.

Credits and Refunds

LSRPA does not provide refunds for course and event registrations. If you are unable to attend a course or event, you can have someone else take your place. For member-only courses and events, the person substituting for you must also be a member of LSRPA. When substituting someone in your place, please email our Webmaster, Anne Lazo, at [email protected]. If you are unable to attend and do not substitute anyone in your place, when you provide sufficient notice (as outlined for each event or course), LSRPA will generate a Credit Note in your account. When you are ready to apply the credit for a future course, register for the course and select Pay Later/Invoice Me for the payment type. Then, email our Webmaster, Anne Lazo, at [email protected]. She will apply the credit to your invoice. For events that require payment up front, email Anne Lazo before registering so she can provide assistance.

General Account Management

  1. Passwords: If you tried to reset your password, but didn't receive an email, please contact our Webmaster, Anne Lazo, at [email protected]. She will set a temporary password that will allow you to access your account.
  2. Usernames: When you create your account, the system automatically sets your username to your email address. Even though the email address you used at the time your account was created is used for your login, it does not have any bearing on the email address in your profile. You are able to update your profile email address at any time by logging into your account. However, a username cannot be changed by you. If you need to have your username changed, please email our Webmaster, Anne Lazo, at [email protected].
  3. Profile Information: When changing jobs or contact information, you can log into your account where you will be directed to your profile automatically. From there, you are able edit any of the account information in your profile (except for your username). It is your responsibility to keep your profile information up-to-date.
  4. Invoices: At any point in time, you can view the invoices associated with your account. All you need to do is log into your account, hover over the tab that says "Profile," and select Invoices from the drop-down. You will be able to pay invoices and download copies from there.

Invoices and Payment Receipts for Courses or Events

When you register for a course, you will receive two separate emails. The first email will be your registration confirmation. The second email will be an invoice that will show your payment status. To pay an open invoice, log into your account hover over the "Profile" tab, and select Invoices from the drop-down. To obtain a receipt of your payment, please access your invoices in the same manner. You will then be able to download and print a copy of your receipt.

Problems Registering for a Course or Event

Please contact our Webmaster, Anne Lazo, at [email protected]. When you email her, please include a screen shot that shows the problem you are having with your registration.

Zoom Registration Links for Courses

When you register for a Course, Roundtable or Event with the LSRPA, you will receive a confirmation screen that includes the link to pre-register with Zoom. Your confirmation email will also include the Zoom registration link. You will need to register with Zoom prior to the event to receive your personalized link. Also, please be reminded, the Zoom meeting link provided is intended only for the registered attendee and is not to be shared with colleagues or any other individuals. Those wanting to attend events, must individually register to receive the event link.
