scription:
In this presentation, Aspiring Professionals will learn about borehole geophysical logging, its role in the development and refinement of conceptual site models (CSM), and the applications of many lo gging tools. The instructors will tackle issues concerning bedding attitude assessment, lithology of bedrock and unconsolidated deposits, borehole dev iation, cross-flow hydraulics in a borehole, and location and transmissivit ies of water‐bearing fractures in a well. Attendees will be encouraged to t hink about the challenges posed by, and the potential advantages of applyin g borehole geophysics at environmental remediation sites.
