Course Description:

This course is designed to provide an overview of the integration and use of 3D data visualization into conceptual site model (CSM) development to enhance site understanding, support decision-making, and optimize remediation. While not a required submission, CSMs serve to document site conditions, identify data gaps, and support lines of evidence in the remedial decision-making process.

Course topics include:

• Components in developing a CSM which incorporates data visualization
• How data visualization differs from groundwater modeling
• Estimation methods
• Discussion of quality assurance and quality control best practices that should be followed

The course will also feature a case study to further enhance learning and understanding.
