Aspiring Professionals Series: In-Person Drilling Techniques and Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required: Modified Level D, including hard hat, safety glasses, hi-vis vest/clothing, and steel-toed footwear.

Moderator: Alex Saltzman, LSRP, French & Parrello Associates.

Description: Enviroprobe Service, Inc. and a team of their licensed NJ drillers will review and demonstrate modern drilling techniques and related equipment in this exciting in-person workshop. A demonstration of direct-push technologies (DPT) soil and groundwater sampling, hollow-stem auger drilling (HSA), mud and air rotary drilling, and roto-sonic drilling will be displayed along with the various equipment and machinery needed to accomplish these tasks. Attendees will have an opportunity to observe some brief intervals of tooling advancement during this live demonstration, which will include an opportunity to ask questions of drilling professionals with well over 100 years combined experience. During this in-person workshop, a food truck will provide free fare for the attendees! Please remember to bring your PPE!
