Aspiring Professionals Series: In-Person Drilling Techniques and EquipmentDate: October 1, 2024 Course Time: 5:30pm to 7:00pm Location: Enviroprobe Service, Inc., 81 Marter Ave, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required: Modified Level D, including hard hat, safety glasses, hi-vis vest/clothing, and steel-toed footwear. Instructors: Tim Gallagher, Doug Lindes, Howard Hammel, Jason Kuni, Brandon Carpenter Moderator: Alex Saltzman, LSRP, French & Parrello Associates. Description: Enviroprobe Service, Inc. and a team of their licensed NJ drillers will review and demonstrate modern drilling techniques and related equipment in this exciting in-person workshop. A demonstration of direct-push technologies (DPT) soil and groundwater sampling, hollow-stem auger drilling (HSA), mud and air rotary drilling, and roto-sonic drilling will be displayed along with the various equipment and machinery needed to accomplish these tasks. Attendees will have an opportunity to observe some brief intervals of tooling advancement during this live demonstration, which will include an opportunity to ask questions of drilling professionals with well over 100 years combined experience.
