Course Description:

This interactive course is designed to provide LSRPs with much needed information on the requirements for air monitoring and show how monitoring systems can be successfully implemented at their sites to prevent adverse community exposure to receptors.

Unfortunately, most training classes that cover the remedial process overlook the requirements for monitoring contaminants that could be released into the air during cleanups. But preventing harmful exposure during hazardous waste cleanups is a critical component of the overall remedial process.

In this course you will learn the roles and responsibilities of the LSRP, the legal requirements and concerns, and the application of air pathway analysis. This will be followed by case studies to be used for illustrative purposes.
