Call for Presentations: Evolving Remediation Topics LSRPA Site Remediation Conference March 26 & 27, 2025
We are seeking ideas for 30-MINUTE EVOLVING REMEDIATION TOPICS PRESENTATIONS related to environmental practice and the remediation and redevelopment of contaminated sites, with emphasis on the following themes:
- Innovative approaches to investigation and remediation
- Assessing remediation effectiveness
- Characterization and Remediation in fractured rock and complex geology
- Examples of green, sustainable and resilient remediation in site remediation and development
- Ecological evaluation and risk assessment techniques
- Remediation of environmentally sensitive natural resources (ESNRs)
- Regulatory/Legal cases with implications well beyond just one particular project
- Permitting for remediation and redevelopment - implications and not-so-obvious alternatives
- Emerging contaminants
- Relevant academic research projects, including emerging contaminants, novel remediation technologies, biogeochemistry, geoinformatics, or NJ geology
- Other interesting ideas!
Things to Know:
- All sessions will be part of the 2025 NJSRC, which is scheduled for March 26 and 27 at the New Brunswick Hyatt Hotel.
- All presenters will be required to pay the Conference Pass fee.
- The LSRPA reserves the right to accept or reject submissions at its sole discretion.
- Placement of presentations will be at the sole discretion of the LSRPA.
- Further instructions will be provided regarding session format, visuals, preparation, etc.
Instructions to Applicants: Please submit your program idea by Friday, January 17, 2025, as follows:
- Presentation topic and title.
- A brief bulleted description of the presentation.
- One line of what makes this presentation unique or exciting.
- Suggested presenter(s) with short bios and contact information.
