New Jersey Site Remediation Conference 2023 - Call for Abstracts

The New Jersey Site Remediation Conference (NJSRC) is the only conference dedicated specifically to the needs of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) and professionals conducting site remediation under the LSRP program. It promotes the core principals of the LSRPA (LSRPA) and provides LSRPs and other environmental professionals with the opportunity to enhance their professional practice and showcase their technical, regulatory and consulting expertise.

We welcome abstracts for technical podium presentations for topics related to the LSRP practice and the remediation of contaminated sites. Podium presentations will be on Friday, June 2, 2023. Presentations will be delivered in Theme Sessions, consisting of four presentations, each presentation 30 minutes long. The presenters will be in the room, seated at the presenter's table for the entire session. The Theme Sessions that will be presented this year are:

Session 1 - Innovative Approaches to Site Remediation

This session will highlight topics such as:  Remediation in fractured rock and complex geology, technological advances in remediation, green and sustainable remediation, analytical chemistry, remediation of munitions, regulatory challenges in remediation, use of UAVs (drones), forensics, geogenic/ naturally occurring contaminants.

Session 2 - Emergent Contaminants

This session will highlight topics such as:  Risk assessment, risk communication, risk management, remediation standard development, analytical chemistry, site characterization, site remediation, LSRP issues related to emergent contaminants.

Submit your abstract via email with the subject line “NJSRC 2023 Abstract Submission – Last Name” to [email protected]. Please submit as an MSWord file. The abstract title is limited to 200 characters and the abstract text is limited to 2,000 characters.
